Re: “Everything you need to know about this Saturday's Women's March: Rally for Electoral Justice

Here is what Democrats stand for:

Affordable healthcare for all. Period.
Common sense gun control because you dont need an assault rifle to kill a deer.
Immigration reform.
Equal pay for equal work.
A woman can be trusted to make her own healthcare decisions.
Sex education reduces unintended pregnancies.
Love is color blind and gender neutral.
Global warming is not a Chinese hoax even though Trump has more chins than a Chinese phone book.
Happy Holidays is a lovely thing to say to someone when you want them to have a Happy Holiday.
Every child should have access to a quality education.
College should be affordable.
Coal is stupid. (see Chen reference above)
Slavery was bad.
Nazis are not fine people.
Trump is a moron. (Which makes Rex Tillerson an honorary Democrat)

Re: “Family of Walter Scott, 1969 hospital strikers among those honored at MLK Day rally

History lesson: MLK Jr. was a Christian and a Reverend. He marched against white racist Democrats. White racist Democrats, including a white racist democrat chief of police and white racist democrat mayor arrested MLK Jr. in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963.

MLK Jr.'s son, Dextor Scott King, his three siblings, and their mother, Coretta Scott King, have gone on record stating that they believe that the government was involved in the assassination of their father and that the racist white Democrat President Lyndon Johnson who suckered blacks into 50+ years of welfare poverty programs was complicit or at least knew about the assassination before it happened. This was reported by the NY Times (http://www.nytimes.com/1997/06/20/us/son-o…). I expect no one is more interested or has done more research into the assassination than Reverend King Jr's own surviving family.

That makes at least two conspiratorial assassinations surrounding the racist white Democrat Lyndon Johnson - the assassination of JFK and the assassination of MLK Jr.

Lyndon Johnson is falsely portrayed as a "civil rights hero" even though Republicans had been trying to get civil rights legislation passed for over 10 years leading up to the 1964 legislation. Even then, a greater percentage of Republican legislators voted in favor of it. Hillary Clinton's mentor (according to her), Robert Byrd, another racist white Democrat, led what was then a record long filibuster to try to block the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Much of the language in that bill was drafted by Republicans many years earlier. Even MSNBC, a corporate conglomerate fake news media cartel member and PR arm for the DNC, admitted that white Democrat former President Lyndon Johnson was indeed a racist: http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/lyndon-johnson-…

About 50% of blacks used to vote Republican each year. Then the racist Lyndon Johnson passed a bunch of welfare programs and over 80% of blacks have been voting Democrat ever since. It's sad to see such great, often hard working black men and women selling out their votes and being bribed for food stamps. Our goal should be to rise up in the economy so that you and your family make so much money you no longer qualify for welfare programs. But instead, 50 years of the liberal democrat progressive neo-marxist policies have kept the black community right where they want us.

I attended a black baptist sermon a couple weeks ago. After blaming the hurricanes on Donald Trump, the black pastor told his mostly black congregation "you need welfare." I thought to myself, "No, we need jobs." We need an economy where everyone flourishes, no one needs welfare because everyone works and contributes and no one trusts what all of us may agree is a corrupt, inefficient government to provide us our sustenance. I'm tired of Democrats leaving blacks and minorities behind, thinking that we will gladly accept food stamps and welfare in exchange for our votes.

Re: “Everything you need to know about this Saturday's Women's March: Rally for Electoral Justice

Ah, another march for pseudo-feminists who are angry and can't catch an alpha male man. Don't forget to put your pink hats on and cheer when a Madonna or a substitute Hollywood prostitute screams that she wants to blow up the White House.

You do realize that Republicans are the ones who fought the Women's Suffrage movement and earned women the right to vote by passing the 19th amendment, right? Or did Democrats revise that history in your corporate textbooks? Women wouldn't even be allowed to vote if it weren't for Republicans.

There's many credible studies that indicate that the gender pay gap is false. Men and women working equal jobs with equal job titles and equal job duties are making about the same. The gender pay gap is a false narrative that was promoted by Obama to further divide genders after he had successfully divided races and classes. Such junk statistics would compare how much a woman makes working at a diner to how much a man makes as CEO of a Fortune 500 corporation. The junk methodology they used was juvenile and elementary. I expect that a child in middle school would be more honest about a methodology used in conducting a similar study. It was deception and it emoted the anger and hatred out of these manipulated women that the liberal democrat progressive neo-marxists wanted to emote all along. It's the same manipulation of a liberal's sensitive emotions that false news such as "hands up don't shoot" or Zimmerman being a "racist white man" despite being classified as a minority Hispanic emotes from the mob of malcontents.

The electoral process is already accessible to every person, including illegal aliens, dead people, felons, and people who no longer even live in this state. It's pretty sad how much the election board and committees who run our elections are behind in technology and how much they are restricted. Every list of registered voters should be cross-checked with a database of death certificates issued. The list of registered voters should also be checked with the same database employers are required to use to confirm someone is a legal citizen with voting rights. The technology is out there, but Democrats don't want to use it because they know they'd lose votes because they know that illegal aliens vote Democrat over 70% of the time. If the majority of Hispanics voted Republican, then Democrats would have led the way in implementing the proper protocols to validate our voter registrations. And beyond validating voter registrations, how about actually making someone prove they are who they say they are with something more than an utility bill? The same liberal democrat progressive neo-marxists who falsely believe that Russians voted in the last election, are the same liberal democrat progressive neo-marxists who purposely try to keep out voting election process in the 19th century. It's the 21st century now. And every voter should get a receipt for their vote. A receipt that can be audited. A confirmation that the machine registered their vote correctly. A private business must issue you a receipt if you buy a pack of gum. But you don't even get a receipt for voting? Ridiculous.

You don't believe in justice if we don't have a secure election process. If you are too ignorant to navigate the very simple voter registration process we have now, then you are likely too ignorant to vote. Sorry, but you know I'm right. Registering to vote is not difficult and voting locations are always a short walk away. We have free bus transportation for low income earners available as well. It's a lot easier than the old days when you had to saddle up a horse to go into town on unpaved, muddy roads.

LGBTQI? First of all, aren't the G and Q redundant? And what the heck does the I stand for? This acronym to try to group all the perverts together keeps getting longer. Help the rest of us who aren't in the know about the newest category of sodomy. What the heck is an "I" ? Does that stand for "incest" ? Are they the newest sexual victim group? How long before you add the "P" for pedophiles? Certainly they can't help it that they are sexually attracted to children. Perhaps they were "born that way"? Why not add them as another perverted, fake victim to your massive group of victims you supposedly represent all the while bringing in migrants with a religion/culture that teaches them to throw them off rooftops? Shouldn't you be protesting for women's rights in places such as the Middle East instead of bringing in as many migrants as you can from a region that historically mistreats women?

"We are calling for the removal of structural and financial barriers that impede women"

....LOL....but you are charging $5 for parking. That's a good one. FRAUDS!!!

So what else will you be fighting for at your rally? The right to charge taxpayers to fund you killing your own babies? That's a good one! I mean, why should a woman have to use her own earnings to pay for infanticide of her own children? Other hard working taxpayers in the community should pay for it, right?

How about transgender surgery? I'm sure many of the women at this rally wish they were men. Shouldn't the taxpayers pay for your testosterone shots and hormone therapy so you can grow a beard? These are important issues!

It's kind of sad that so many Democrats think they are going to sweep the 2018 mid-term elections. Here it is almost February, 2018 and you don't have any meaningful policy ideas or a noble platform that the common, hard-working citizen with a job can relate to. Meanwhile, we appreciate paying less taxes in 2018 and having unemployment at a 30 year low and competition for a labor force that is driving up wages. And foreseeable 3%+ GDP growth for the next two years. Face it, it's not "cool" to be a liberal democrat progressive neo-marxist in the year 2018. I'll be enjoying the weekend with my children, away from a rally of women who likely aborted theirs.

Re: “Should the Dewberry's rooftop bar have been allowed to open?

I also live in the neighborhood and I have considered the arguments , first of all with the height of the bar , there could be a full scale riot on the roof and nobody on the ground would be the wiser, coupled with the city ordnance about noise after 10pm , the noise objection on its face is bogus to say the least. The simple fact here is that some people objected to the development , they do not like the developer and the developer provided an opening by making a hash of the application process. With the delay , the loss of revenue and the sheer amount of bad press I think the pound of flesh has been well secured. It is a net gain for the city it is providing employment , and we all need to move on together .

Thanks for the information Adam Manno. I still feel that there are others complicit in this, including government officials. I haven't been following the story as closely as others.

I wonder if the "average" SCE&G customer includes businesses and commercial properties which probably inflates the average refund quite a bit.

Re: “Goose Creek High's basketball team honors Emanuel 9 with new uniforms

When a black man named Anthony Bell from Baton Rouge, Louisiana shot up a mostly white church, murdered four people, then shot his own wife, the corporate conglomerate fake news media cartel didn't care. Al Sharptongue didn't care. Jesse Jackson didn't care. Democrats didn't care. The race baiters didn't care.

When a black immigrant from Sudan (one of the nations from which Trump wants to better vet immigrants) shot up a mostly white church in Antioch, Tennessee, the corporate conglomerate fake news media cartel didn't care. One person died and the other seven were left severely injured. A private gun owner stopped him from killing more people by going to his own vehicle and retrieving a firearm that the 2nd Amendment allows him to have to protect himself and his church congregation. Al Sharptongue didn't care. Obama didn't care. Jesse Jackson didn't care. Democrats didn't care. The race baiters didn't care. Democrats still want to bring in anyone from Sudan even if we have no records on them and no way of vetting them.

When a black man named Wendell Buchanan shot at three Christian churches, it didn't even make national news.

Then we can talk about the many fake hate crimes at black churches, in which racially derogatory graffiti and vandalism was ACTUALLY committed by black men! Take the racial epithets allegedly spray painted on the Cynthia Graham Hurd Library by Cainin Milton for example (source https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/black-man-arr…). Eddie Curlin did something similar in Michigan. Vincent Broughton did it in Colorado Springs. Derogatory racist vandalism perpetrated by blacks. We have black men spray painting racial epithets against other blacks and Hispanics and then trying to frame and blame white men. Pathetic! There isn't enough REAL white against black/Hispanic racism, so you now have to fabricate it??! These sort of petty, disgusting tactics are not uncommon among Democrat operatives who try to falsely frame Trump supporters as racists. Only low IQ voters fall for these tricks. Considering the statistics and prevalence of these incidents, any racial epithets against blacks spray painted on property should be assumed to be carried out by blacks in an attempt to frame whites and perpetrate Democrat false narratives.

Remember Charlottesville? Turns out an Antifa member named Dwayne Dixon admitted to chasing James Alex Fields Jr. with a rifle. The fake news media got another one wrong. Trump was right to say there was misconduct on BOTH SIDES. The fake corporate conglomerate news media cartel owes Trump another apology. Besides, only a fool would want to rip down Thomas Jefferson's statue. He fell in love with a black woman named Sally Hemings after his wife died and fathered six children with her. The REAL racists chastised Thomas Jefferson during his time, condemning him for taking a black woman as a lover. Thomas Jefferson was the opposite of a racist and one of the most progressive American men of his time. Democrats are ignorant of history.

I am proud that Charleston didn't give into the race baiters. There were even some good black Christians in Charleston who told Al Sharpton to go away. But of course Obama and his parade of goons and Al Sharpton showed up and lectured us as if it wasn't Democrats who passed Jim Crow laws. There was revisionist history and fake morality from a presidency founded upon racism and classism.

I ask that the race baiters show equal contempt and outrage when a black shoots up a white church as they do when a white person shoots up a black church. And don't BS me all of a sudden how it isn't about race. The liberal democrat progressive neo-marxists make everything about race because they lack the IQ and articulation to discuss real issues.

Re: “The Agenda: Graham reportedly pushed back on Trump's 'shithole countries' comment; Burgess sworn in; SCE&G bankruptcy without Dominion?

Wow. The first sign that someone is ignorant of politics is when they think everything is about race. Nothing Trump said was racist. Democrats are ignorant and don't want to address the real reasons for Haiti's failure as a nation. And it has nothing to do with race.

1. Forget about race. Let's look at IQ which can be objectively and scientifically measured. The average IQ in Haiti is 67. The average IQ is sub-Saharan Africa is 70. The threshold at which scientists begin classifying people as suffering from mental retardation is 70. So the question should be, why do Democrats want to import people who are scientifically classified as being mentally retarded into America where we already suffer from high welfare enrollment, poverty, and declining scores in our education system? The average IQ in Norway is 100, which is 7th among all nations in the world. Why do Democrats NOT want high IQ immigrants, and prefer the low IQ immigrants? Do you need a low IQ to vote Democrat? That would explain Democrats' dedication to socially engineering the population via open borders and sanctuaries that target low IQ populations. (Source https://iq-research.info/en/page/average-i…)

2. Also referencing the link above, Koreans have some of the highest IQ's in the world. But look at the difference in economics and quality of living between North Korea and South Korea. North Korea has a communist regime in power that restricts free enterprise and private property rights, whereas South Korea has a democratic, free-enterprise economy that protects private property rights. South Korea's corporate tax rate is 22 percent in contrast to the oppressive tax rates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders want which is 35% upwards, which suppresses entrepreneurship and prevents resources from allocating to those who are the most successful in growing the economy. And South Korea isn't exactly a model for free enterprise or the principles that made America great. Compared to North Korea though, it is night and day.

3. According to a statement from former Hillary Clinton's State Department, Americans should NOT travel to Haiti. Why? Because it isn't a sh**hole? Read:

"The Department of State urges U.S. citizens to exercise caution when visiting Haiti given Haitis weak emergency response infrastructure. Hundreds of thousands of U.S. citizens safely visit Haiti each year, but the poor state of Haitis emergency response network should be carefully considered when planning travel. Travelers to Haiti are encouraged to use organizations that have solid infrastructure, evacuation, and medical support options in place.....U.S. citizens have been victims of violent crime, including homicide and kidnapping, predominantly in the Port-au-Prince area. No one is safe from kidnapping, regardless of occupation, nationality, race, gender, or age." (Source http://www.missionaryhealth.net/2013/01/us…) citing a statement from State Department posted in 2013 when Hillary was in charge and Obama was president.

Why would Hillary Clinton say this about a nation of mostly black people? Is Hillary Clinton......RACIST? Why didn't the media and Democrats condemn Hillary Clinton for posting such a negative statement referencing Haiti to Americans who might be considering traveling there? Are you hypocrites? Or is it okay for a Democrat to condemn the conditions in Haiti but racist for a Republican to do the exact same?

4. Would Democrats prefer to live in Haiti or Norway? How come Democrats threatened to move to Canada if Trump was elected? Why didn't Democrats threaten to move to Haiti if Trump was elected? Corruption? Poverty? Crime? Poor education? All three?

5. Nearly 40% of Haitians are illiterate. Why do Democrats want to import illiterate people into our nation? We are already struggling to fight illiteracy here in the low country!!! Taxpayers are already supporting a ridiculous number of people enrolled in welfare programs. Over 90% of refugees use welfare in the United States. Those are statistical FACTS. I have my own children to support! I work two jobs to support my own children!!! I am a single father raising my children and I work two jobs and I don't receive any welfare assistance at all. I pay over $1,000 a month for childcare while I am work at one of my two jobs, seven days a week. I am already struggling to support my family without low IQ, illiterate refugees to babysit with my tax dollars!

6. If Democrats care about Haitians so much, then personally sponsor their immigration. If any of the Haitian immigrants commit a crime, then the Democrat who sponsored them accepts the same punishment as the criminal immigrant and sits in the jail cell with them. Also, Democrats who sponsor immigrants should personally setup a financial fund to pay for all their groceries, housing, utilities, transportation, education, and healthcare. If you really cared about Haitians, you'd support them with your own money instead of stealing more money out of my earned income that I would have otherwise used to support my own children.

7. The Dominican Republic is on the same island as Haiti. Fairly the same people. But teh Dominican Republican has a higher standard of living and is a nice place to visit for vacation. Why? Nothing to do with race. It's because the government is less corrupt and the people are better educated and have marketable skills!

8. Haiti - 219 murders per 100,000 residents per year
Norway - 0.56 murders per 100,000 residents per year

9. Haiti - $739.60 GDP per capita
Norway - $70,812.48 GDP per capita

That is proof that the average Norwegian is not only more intelligent, but is far more productive in contributing to gross domestic product than the average Haitian. Do we want to import productive people into the United States, or some of the least productive people in the entire world?

10. Democrats can't seem to make up their minds. Either El Salvador is indeed a sh**hole and migrants from there need "17 years of Temporary Protection Status" as Democrats claim, or El Salvador is NOT a sh**hole, also claimed by Democrats, therefore migrants from there should be sent home immediately. Which is it? Why are Democrats so wishy washy and try to play things from both sides depending on what garbage policy they are trying to force down our throats?

11. James O'Keefe recorded Twitter engineers and executives, undercover, saying that Trump supporters are "sh*tty people" and "redn*cks" and were shadow-banning them. So here we have Democrats in charge of a large corporation like Twitter who are referring to Trump supporters with racial epithets, and they are recorded on video doing it, and there is no outcry from the corporate conglomerate fake news media cartel ABC/CBS/PBS/CNN/MSNBC/DEFGHIJKLMNOP, but you try to spin this Haiti comment into being something racist despite all economic and crime and educational data indicating that there is indeed many, many things wrong with Haiti.

12. When Democrats cannot discuss policy issues, but only cry Racism repeatedly despite being the political party that, historically, was on the wrong side of racism, then that is indication to me that you are almost as low IQ as the Haitians you want to import. Do you lack the ability to be articulate or discuss political issues without bringing race up as a topic? You do realize that practically all the civil rights legislation in America was passed by Republicans, right? All those statues you want to tear down are of old, racist white Democrats. The 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments were passed by Republicans. The 19th amendment was passed by Republicans. Blacks and women have civil rights because of Republicans. Leave it up to race baiting Democrats with a terrible history of civil rights violations and voting against civil rights legislation that Republicans passed to pretend to be the experts on who is or who is not racist in 2018. I say you are all a bunch of FRAUDS pretending to be morally superior. It's similar to all the Hollywood Frauds who hate Trump being exposed as being prostitutes and sexual harassers. Turns out they are far worse than what they falsely accused Trump of being.

Re: “Plastics don't make it possible

Interesting article by Mr. Jeremy Rutledge. I like that he researched data from the local Citadel college. It's great when local journalists involve the studies being conducted by local academics at our many universities.

I have more questions and hope someone can assist me in researching them.

1. How much of the recyclables we put in our blue recycle bins actually gets recycled?

2. How does much of this pollution make it into the marsh and sea? I suspect littering. Littering is already illegal, but often difficult to enforce and difficult to prosecute. Perhaps wind blows trash out of outside trash bins? Perhaps there is spillage when the trash trucks come and pick up our trash each week?

3. The best way to reduce plastic bottles, outside laws laws laws, is to come up with a marketable, low cost alternative. Either that, or to come up with a greater incentive for consumers to recycle those bottles properly. Perhaps a more robust home recycling method, such as segregated trash cans that organize and compact waste? The same goes for plastic bags. They are very cheap to manufacture and produce, whereas cloth bags sometimes go for $10 each. It costs less than a penny to produce each plastic bag, but 1000x that much for a cloth bag. That's part of the problem. Don't expect all cost conscious people to change with that great of an upfront cost discrepancy.

4. Supposedly, Charleston County has a Materials Recycling Center that should be coming online soon. Officials fumbled the project by making bad real estate decisions. Some investigation and FOIA can find many errors in the decision making process. But I expect options to become better once it goes online. Did you know that a large percentage of Charleston County waste is transported to the upstate? Do you have any idea the cost and fossil fuel consumed while transporting many, many tons of trash to Horry County?

5. One of the primary things I disagree with Mr. Jeremy Rutledge is his statement "let's ask our public officials to lead the way." I don't think we should look to government to lead the way. It's not even their area of expertise. If grocery stores offered a discount for me bringing cloth bags, I'd have a greater incentive to forego the plastic bags. Try different things besides just passing regulations and laws. It seems to me we already have enough laws. There's other ways to accomplish the results we want without having a coercive government forcing you to behave a certain way. With each law, it costs money for government to enforce it. And whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, I think we can all agree that government does things inefficiently due to the size of the bureaucracy, the cost of pensions, and its inability to effectively be cost conscious (i.e. they raise taxes but rarely ever cut them). Government is also not as innovative as the private market. This is proven by the fact that we have a landfill at the edge of the County instead of one that is centrally located, we transport most of our local waste to the upstate by expensive fossil fuel burning means (big trucks, trains), and don't even have a good recycling plant up and running in 2018 (Materials recycling facility delays, bad real estate deals (corruption?), over budget, etc.). So stop looking to the government for solutions. They repeatedly keep dropping the ball. Go back up to #1 in my list. I don't think you'll like the answer you find out.

6. Our recycling program (the blue bins) costs money. You'd think that the recycling of materials might generate enough revenue to offset the cost of the program. Wrong. It costs taxpayers money to support the program. Recycling is still too expensive. Wouldn't it be great if the revenue generated from the raw material recovered from recycled waste generated enough revenue to offset the cost of recycling in the first place? Economics, people! A Citadel student or entrepreneur who could solve this problem could become rich or make a great, positive change for society!

This company charges skyrocketing prices for any service it offer's. The $1000 isn't a customer bonus from them but one ordered prior to this courting. This also include's residents of South Carolina to contiue to pay for this mistake in the billion's of dollars. This acquisition will also lead to unforeseen skyrocketing cost's. If this acquisition was to take place it will also have consequences in this very heated political race that aren't needed. South Carolina can do better! This also needs to be placed on the ballot for a vote by the ratepayers of South Carolina.

We are living in wild west times when it comes to power of information and how it is shared. We certainly need amendments to our constitution that at least give us privacy if we participate with corporations that use algorithms of our behavior to study us like zoo animals.

Right now the private corporations keep/collect all of everyone's data/patterns and sell it to the highest bidder.

Now it is just the internet and phones, but in five years technology will probably be very intrusive into our lives through enhanced facial micro gesture readers and infrared technology.

The media sucks for trying to paint Sanford as a bad guy. He made several good points with what he was saying. He is doing a good job representing our state. It is the media trying to get sound bites of him incriminating himself into something they can sensationalize to make SC look racist that suck.
