in response to wytches & children:
lolololololololololol. if i was wearing recreational shoes, they'd be lollerskates. if i was sitting in my favored means of transportation, it'd be my lollercopter. finally, if i made it to the rides at coney island, i'd be on the lollercoaster. The level of pretension in this article is off the hipster scale. what this says is "we do not want our mediocrity to be outshined in any facet, that AND we have no interest in learning how to craft music with a solid message." please stfu and kys.

Re: “End of an Era: Musician Michael Flynn is leaving Charleston

Let me know when you find that Mayberry, I've been looking for it for decades.
All the little / cheap towns I've found are waaaay, out in the boonies, with no way to make what little money you need to live there.

Re: “Yonder Field's Bowman Bound festival has been canceled

Bowman is halfway between Columbia & Charleston on i-26 and an easy ride from Florence or Hilton Head on I-95 sounds perfect. The only problem is the festival is in BOWMAN!! A weak ass line up with camping as your only alternative for sleeping in a location which is really just 2 gas stations at 2 exits is a hard sell even if the show was worth seeing. Riverfront park in north Charleston would have been a better location for the line up but if a festival is gonna pull people to the sticks they need to bring some heat. I suspect ticket sales were the real reason the festival was cancelled.

I would love to offer my time and performance of drumming and dancing by my band "The Deni Band" to this beneficial event. Flavors of the victims and am willing to do whatever I can to help.
