Re: “Polls are open until 7 p.m. for Council District 6 and District 10 runoff elections

I thought Gregorie's campaign ad was weak. Something about since he is already in office, why start over. That's all it said

Re: “Is S.C. next? Steve Bannon is trying to sway GOP primaries across the country

Cannot wait to vote for Catherine Templeton!

There are worse criminals operating under the state capitol dome in Columbia, SC than some of those currently enjoying lifetime careers of graft and corruption under the capitol dome in the District of Columbia - Washington, DC. Some would even make the narco regimes in Colombia, South America look legitimate by comparison.

Re: “Former Veggie Bin location rezoned to make way for housing

In quoting Fred without following up with us about how we do actually feel it implies his statement is true and we are worried about our future.

Re: “Former Veggie Bin location rezoned to make way for housing

That's the 2nd time in 2 years City Paper has implied EBTV is closing or in trouble. As a regular customer myself, I was just told last week that 2017 has seen their best profits ever.

C'mon, CP- I love this publication, but how about a more balanced article, or maybe showing one of the last remaining services/core businesses on the peninsula some love?

Re: “Is S.C. next? Steve Bannon is trying to sway GOP primaries across the country

We need to reform the Republican party. It's outrageous how some senators/politicians in the party are attacking Roy Moore.
They might as well register as Democrats.

East Bay True Value, Adam reported the facts of what was said at the meeting. He did not imply that the feelings of Fred Turco were your own, he merely quoted what Turco said.

Re: “Charleston City Council again considers reining in Planning Commission’s power

Okay , so these people are in appointed positions , they are picked by who? Council members and the Mayor. Even Stevie Wonder can see this is not right! So these public elected city officials are saying its the commission fault. So why is this commission still operating. All the city incumbents made this poor decision and thats why we are putting them in the street!!!

A customer is not a reliable credible source as to our intentions or survival. Maybe ask the business owner?

Re: “The Agenda: Columbia mayor proposing bump stock ban; Folly short-term rentals; Wilson joins case to preserve public meeting prayers

you don't need a bump stock to bump fire. you can do it with a your pants belt loop or with just your finger.

Re: “Sullivan's Island woman who interrupted Bannon speech cited for disorderly conduct

It was a private event, that when you paid for the ticket you agreed to the terms and services and rules for attending the event, you break the rules you get kicked out. If you wanted to demonstrate you right to free speech there was an area outside you could have done that in. You don't go to a concert walk up on stage and start yelling at the performers do you? because if you did that you would be taken away by security same with what happened here. She also was illegally parked but none of the other new organizations bothered to report that fact. Shes luck disorderly conduct was the only thing they are slapping her with.

Re: “King Street lunch counter sit-in plaque replaced after two years

I think they should have put the plaque back in its original spot. Not noticeable now and attached flush to a clothing store
