Re: “Sullivan's Island woman who interrupted Bannon speech cited for disorderly conduct

Dale Hutchinson. Please fact check first. She was not trespassing. She had purchased a ticket to be there. She paid the same price as everyone else who sat in attendance.

Also, Im not quite sure what your hateful adjectives have to do with your opinion on the matter. Have your feelings and opinions (1st amendment works both way) but when people resort to name calling and bully type mentality - they tend to lose credibility and their opinion is glanced at.

Also the article is failing to mention what she fully said. When Bannon referred to it being Gods way for Trump to be elected she asked if it was also Gods way for him to grab pussy.

Re: “Sullivan's Island woman who interrupted Bannon speech cited for disorderly conduct

"You're a good girl" are you kidding me? "One of my ex-wives?" Would that be the ones who cited domestic abuse? And this Neanderthal got cheers for that?? And then there is the lovely comment on this thread, "she was overweight and ugly" disgusting, the lot of you. You should be ashamed, I'm ashamed to even live in the same area as the people who came out to hear this man's hate speech, to this woman, wherever you are, you re my hero

Great story! I hope NBC will continue with this practice.

Re: “Sullivan's Island woman who interrupted Bannon speech cited for disorderly conduct

That ugly, overweight, and incredibly rude excuse for a woman was tresspassing. She should be charged, as such, if nothing more to show that others have a right to pay a lot of money to see someone give a speech, and that your personal opinion, especially when you have paid nothing, is not wanted. She should have stayed outside with the other folks with manners who had accepted that fact. I bet she is a really doozie as a neighbor. Probably tries to tackle her neighbors, too.

Re: “Steve Bannon, leader of populist "revolt," is likely flying to Charleston on a private jet

So what???? If I was worth 50 million dollars, and had the crazy schedule this guy does, I'd probably fly around the country in my own jet (probably rented). What is wrong with that? Many well-healed businessmen fly in their own jets every day, because the commercial flights are horrible to begin with , use up 3-4 hours going through security and being treated like cattle, and probably don't always have enough seats for his entourage. Get off it, you low paid reporter and realize there are out there who have more than you do, and spend it wisely. And, of course, you had to inject the little bit about Moore. Totally unsubstantiated, so didn't they teach you in Journalism 101 not to publish stories that have no proof? You must have been taught by the Huff Post.

Re: “Bannon shies away from gubernatorial endorsement, praises Trump at Citadel speech

How anyone who has heard this man speak can come to the conclusion that he is not evil is alarming. Maybe evil is too strong a word ... but this man is certainly not good. SC needs a better gubernatorial candidate NOW!

I attended this event. I urge folks to view the tapped video of Bannon's appearance. Judge & decide for yourselves if Bannon is this evil person some of our media is making him out to be.

Re: “The Agenda: SCANA could get $2 billion tax break for walking away; Many favor assault-style gun ban

" Gun control only works on people who FOLLOW THE LAWS!"

So you're saying that the only people who commit crimes are criminals? Bold concept.

And laws only work if they are properly enforced. The Air Force really dropped the ball here.

A good thing for the survivors of the Sutherland Springs shooting that a similar ban was not in place in that community. Gun control only works on people who FOLLOW THE LAWS!

Re: “Gov. candidate Catherine Templeton calls Steve Bannon "the voice of the rest of us" ahead of his Citadel speaking gig

Steve Bannon is dismissing Roy Moore's alleged pederasty as a non-issue created by the "democratic apparatus", whatever that is. No, Roy Moore created the issue when he fondled and p***y-grabbed a 14 year old (also a 17 and 18 y.o.), who by definition, lacks the legal maturity to consent to such grabbing. Gee, Ms. Templeton, would you like him to turn his amore' toward you or, do you object to his misogyny and alleged criminal pederasty and Bannon's dismissal of it? Or, maybe you just know the woman's place in a man's society and you are just folding to their "power".

Re: “State Rep. Gilliard set to meet with Citadel president over Bannon appearance

Anyone who wants someone d3ad just because they are African-American, Jewish or LGBTQ fails to have a valid moral opinion. I have zero tolerance only to those who have zero tolerance of African-Americans, Jews or LGBTQs. They don't deserve to breathe the same air. You simply cannot defend the indefensible unless you're one of them. Re: https://youtu.be/P54sP0Nlngg

Re: “Human trafficking is everyone's problem

Good article. I liked your comment here:
It is up to us to raise each other up as fellow human beings. Not one of us is beyond corruption. Apathy and selfishness are our enemies.

All of us have some level of selfishness. For some it means taking what they want with no regard for another; for others its just being too lazy and interested in our own comfort to do anything to help. Either way we are all at fault in some degree. Making things right starts with each individual taking a stand and doing something about the sad circumstances of others. That is called love.

HA - a bunch of white people worried that Charleston neighborhoods will be "hollowed out". We just can't seem to stop telling everyone else where they can't be.

Re: “Disagreements continue over how to best regulate and police short-term rentals

I is my understanding that up until 2012 Short Term Rentals were permitted. I don't see were during the years previous to that there were issues that seem to be of concern today. I think that short term rentals should be registered, taxed, and follow a common rule set like any other business. I also don't understand why the focus on B&B's they are few compared to the other rentals out there. The last item is enforcement, it will be easy if it is legal, don't know how it will get done if it is not.
