Re: “'Little Birdie,' the best Thanksgiving tune

I love this song. It breaks my heart (in a good way).It is so touching To the famiy OG guarldi( I hope I spelled it right), I never wanted this song to end; if I ever marry, this will be one of the songs played at my reception.

Re: “Bert's Bar 'reunion' on the way

Excusing the fact that the writer is not up to snuff on island history, the least we can do is correct the spelling of the name of the fine man who started the whole thing: Mr. Burt Wurthmann.

Re: “Live Music at Guy Harvey's

Sandy was awesome! She suggested the oysters and the fish tacos and they were incredible! I will certainly come back!

Re: “98X announces spring music bash

Bring them to North Charleston, SC...."Triumph Over Shipwreck",
CD "A World Called War"……

Triumph Over Shipwreck
Triumph Over Shipwreck, This talented five piece ensemble hails from the El Paso, Texas metal and hardcore scene. Musically, they skillfully blend multiple genres together to create their ,"Controlled Chaos", sound. Starting up in the summer 2007, Triumph Over Shipwrec...k has made quite a name for themselves in Texas and the surrounding areas. Signing to Wartime Records during the winter of 2009, TOSW got the much needed push they needed. Now with the help of Joel Haston and The Active Management team, the band is now road ready and will be touring the better half of 2011, Keep an eye out for their upcoming tour dates

Re: “The Village Tavern shuts down

Trey wasn't much help either. He began to care little during the end of his ownership as well. I've heard and seen him belittle his customers in the past. Even seen him hit a few. Don't know if there was any legal recourse for his actions, but there should have been. Just didn't feel comfortable there anymore, so I and my friends stopped going.

Re: “Kickin' 95.9 FM says howdy

We listen to country radio all day everyday at work. I was so happy to find this radio station. I enjoy listening to the old country music. Keep it up with the oldies

Re: “Kickin' 95.9 FM says howdy

Ok with all the negative on here. I actually like it the new radio station. I got tired of listening to all the new country, nothing against it but I love old country music. Thank you Kickin 95.9 for coming to the Charleston area airwaves. I give you guys 2 thumbs up :)

Nice video. Though I can't see a musician with ghoul makeup without thinking of the misfits. I might head down to the pour house monday.

Re: “Kickin' 95.9 FM says howdy

I am having withdrawls.........95.9 greatest hits had the BEST!!!!! music for one year. I along with many of my friends had our home, car and work radios tuned in to the best music. You could really listen and sing and dance whatever to the very very best. The reason why the format was changed so abruptly? ahhhh money yes money money money....95.9 kickin country SUCKS!!!!! We have enough country stations which I love by the way, however will never listen to 95.9 again and I'M SPREADING THE WORD!!!!!. I am lost and will not listen to 102.5. Back to Pandora, cd's and streaming on the internet with 94.9 the surf, web-site link listed below. (beach music plus).…

Re: “Kickin' 95.9 FM says howdy

Congratulations!! You take off the best radio station in Charleston without warning and replace it with this crap, what a way to treat your loyal listeners,I had all my radios, home, work, car all tuned to this station, now I have nothing to listen to,everybody who heard the station raved on how good it was and asked me what station it was.I am absolutely livid!!!!! Please put it back right away,we don't need another whiney country station in Charleston.

Interesting that there are no "thanks - good idea" postings, isn't it. Goodbye 95.9 and goodbye advertisers from another former listener.
