Re: “Mt. Pleasant Seafood

The absolute best in the area. Always fresh, always honest (they let us know right off that the shrimp wasn't local. We drive from Goose Creek to Mt. P, passing many other places on the way. It's that good.

Re: “Baldwin Vineyards

The grapes are wonderful, but last year when I went there, their normally nice personalities were a bit sour. Because of that I'm not sure I will return this year. I may have to search for another place where I feel more welcome. The man there was just rude to us.

Re: “Bugby Plantation

I picked some really great tomatoes corn and a watermelon last week. I'm going back today.

Re: “Charleston Bees and Honey

Main Road Farmers Market has closed and also Charleston Hardware has closed. You can find this honey at the new Ace Hardware on the corner of wapoo an Ashley River Road (in the DMV plaza) and also at the local food store near Dogwood Rd and Ashley River Rd

Re: “Fili-West Farms

I was watching "Rotten" on Netflix. Is your chicken in Georgia? I live an hour South of Savannah.

Re: “ALDI

But you don't have the fancy bags with the names of the gluten free, organic, farm raised eggs and roam free cows to brag about. Aldi's in Summerville has great prices. I wonder how Lowes will compete?

Re: “ALDI

I don't need Whole Foods prices to buy nutritious food. Maybe some people need their grocery shopping to be "an experience," I would rather spend the money I save at Aldi ( usually $50-70 per week) on real experiences. Aldi is straight forward fresh food for a lot less than any store I've been to. I love hearing people complain about having to "pay a quarter" You get the quarter back when you return your cart. Bring your reusable bags and get ready to save!

Mrs. Freemam and family have their beautiful produce at the Saturday Farmer's market
Thank you for the red peppers this morning. Am filling them with nutty multigrain rice and vegetarian cheese on top for a favorite meal tonight

Re: “Frothy Beard Brewing

I agree with RealBeerGuru. They had a small selection of their own beers on tap, and then had to fill up the rest with beer from other breweries. I've never been a huge fan of their beers, but they were OK. Pizza was also just OK. It also seemed to me like they had baked it earlier and re-heated it. It's a cool spot and nice facility, however.

Great selection of beers and good pizza

Re: “Frothy Beard Brewing

Was looking forward to this, but they only had 4 beers on tap, I think they had a dozen when they were off Ashley Phospate. Big pizza slices had ok taste, but they were obviously baked much earlier and then retopped and reheated.

Re: “Charleston Bees and Honey

Larry's honey is the best! The packaging and care in each jar is amazing, and very reasonable. A worthy local product
