Re: “Fire Street Food

I won't go into the whole ordeal...but based on my families experience on a single visit...I have no plans to go back.

Service was weak even though we were seated 6' from counter and there were only a couple other patrons. Waitress was more involved with setting up shop & organizing rather than waiting on customers. Meanwhile, one of the owners(?), a woman, is walking around with a glass of wine in hand and offers no assistance.

My meal came out separately and long after everyone else was a party of 3. Food was not appetizing and bit 'off' from one would expect of familiar dishes.
No thank you.

Re: “CO

they are actually on this site THREE times... perhaps to not show any of the negative reviews! Read this Charleston City Paper page for the truth…

Re: “Tasty Thai & Sushi

My partner and I went to Tasty Thai last Fall and had a wonderful time. The service was a tad slow but not inattentive and the food was surprisingly good. We picked up a gift certificate and headed there on 2/22/11. I'm sorry we did. The food was missing key ingredients, the service was a schizophrenic blend of apathetic and combative, the prices far too high, and the music much, much too loud.

Re: “Tasty Thai & Sushi

We decided to try this place after reading such great reviews but were completely disappointed. The appetizers of fried crab won tons had way too much cream cheese and we couldn't even taste the crab but the dumplings were fine. At first our server was very attentive and informative but once we placed our entree order, he disappeared. We had to ask other servers who happened to walk by for assistance. I ordered my entree on the recommendation of the now missing server and asked for the spiciest sauce option. My food came out cold & bland. My friend who accompanied me was not satisfied with his option either. We then had to again ask for someone who was not our server to remove the food, this server was really apologetic and kind. But at this point we were hungry and tired of trying, so we left and found another place to eat. Maybe we just tried it on an off night but I will never go back.
