Is there a gluten-free option for pizza?

Re: “Kudu Coffee House

Too many men wearing tight jeans and women reading books, but those are really negligible and are worthy of a pass. They would do well to add some cornhole boards and a few flatscreens so that you didn't have to make conversation with a bunch of potheads, but otherwise everything seems up to par. Despite some small shortcomings, they still make a good cup of coffee. You can even use your dog as a conversation starter seeing as how they allow canines and similar small pets on their deck.

And I agree with the reviewer above. The place is located in an absolutely JEM of a location.

Delish! Cafe mocha is awesome! Blueberry cream sodas are out of this world! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owners are the best!

Re: “Richard's Coffee n' More

I missed this shop so much when it was under a different name. Call me slow, but I just found out that Richard had reopened a sandwich shop again. (My grapevine is a little slow) It was great news to me. My lunch spot changed as soon as I heard Richard and Gloria were back making sandwiches. There are very few good sandwich shops in the area. This place more than fills the void! The Turkey Rasberry Chipolte or the Chicken buffalo wrap are my favorites.

It is great to have a small business that takes pride in their work. Food chains get boring. Richard's Coffee and More brings back a little spice to the Park Circle area. Be prepared for a local business supporting the local community with a smile and great food. Cheers Richard....Glad to have you and Gloria back! I will make sure to come through the doors more often!

Re: “Richard's Coffee n' More

Richard's is a great LOCAL neighborhood coffee shop. The owner and the clientele are passionate about the neighborhood. The menu is simple, affordable and yummy. And you haven't lived until you've had one of Ms. Gloria's homemade waffles...

Re: “Richard's Coffee n' More

Richard's Coffee is also a great wireless hotspot! I am working on my Master's degree online and the family atmosphere makes it a great place to hang out and study. I also love the artwork on display...its a rotating collection of some of the artists in the community and its good to see a local business supporting the arts. Oh, and by the way...they have Great Food too!!! Richard's coffee gives generous portions, and the menu features a variety of healthy wraps and Gloria is always cooking up something special on Saturday mornings to excite & delight the palette.

Re: “Richard's Coffee n' More

Park Circle deserves and needs a great coffee shop. Unfortunately, Richard's is not filling that need. The atmosphere is stale and not inviting at all. The self-serve coffee setup with cheap plastic cups is not found in any other reputable coffee shop.
Didn't this operation fail once before? Why not try something different this time?

Re: “Richard's Coffee n' More

Contrary to SoundlyAwake, I thoroughly enjoyed my first (yes, first) iced coffee from a very nice young lady who stated I'd get hooked on them if I tried one. It was very flavorful, nicely portioned, very refreshing, and I rather liked the atmosphere. Any place that tries to help our local artists gets points from me. I had a great sandwich, which I could not finish (took the remainder home withe me), and enjoyed watching the world go by in N. Chas. Fortunately the High School was out for the year, so there was minimal kid traffic. I will definitely go back when I visit the other bars in this ever improving part of N. Charleston. Oh, and Soundly, they have real great overheated Joe at Sunoco's.

Re: “Richard's Coffee n' More

As the owner I was somewhat taken a back by "SoundlyAwake72"'s comment. The "Mix Matched Art" is from lo cal artists that we are trying to show case. The "opened bread" is baked fresh daily by Southeastern Bakery and used to make sandwich that use, the best quality meat that we could find, Thumann's. We sell a lot of Iced Coffee -- using Charleston Coffee Roasters beans -- and everyone, except this person, raves about it. If "SoundlyAwake72" would return, I would gladly refund his money and provide directions to the nearest convenience store where he may find coffee more to his liking.

Re: “Richard's Coffee n' More

I love the chicken salad wrap and the potato salad- yum! Nevermind the awesome coffee and homemade waffles!!! I love this place. Awesome to grab on the go or to sit and eat inside or on the outdoor patio. A welcome addition to Park Circle! And the staff are warm and make you feel at home.

Re: “Richard's Coffee n' More

Purchased an iced coffee here recently. When I entered I was surprised at how hap-hazard everything seemed. The decor was a mix of mismatched artwork and food items such as half opened loaves of bread, canned items, etc. I placed my order for a "specialty coffee" drink and was told by the nice lady behind the counter that I would have to wait for Richard (the owner) to return because she doesn't know how to make those types of drinks. I waited 15 minutes and was about to walk out when Richard returned. My drink was flavorless, watered down, and over-priced. With the recent influx of new restaurants, bars, and new home owners you would think that Park Circle would be able to not only support but demand a top drawer coffee house.

Re: “Richard's Coffee n' More

Friendly personable service, good quality deli meat for the sandwiches, good coffee, and it's all really reasonably priced. definitely a good neighborhood coffee shop, which are getting harder and harder to find anymore.

Re: “Café Kronic

This little cafe is about to be little no more. They are moving to where D&B's Cheeseburger's used to be behind Walgreens, a few doors down from Mondo's Delight and Terrie's Sports Bar. I love this place and excited for them to have a bigger place to serve more locals and tourist at. They have an amazing staff, who are all so nice and sweet. I hope this restaurant continues to do well and even better once in its new place. If you have not tried them out please go and do not waste anymore time. This cozy laid back atmosphere yet superb customer service along with amazing cuisine is what I think to be the best on James Island. Rooting for this Cafe all the way!! Love this place! Keep Going and make it happen!!

Really enjoy this coffee shop. Excellent, consistent coffee, friendly folks and when the weather warms up, the courtyard can't be beat with live music on the weekends. LOVE it!

Re: “Café Kronic

A friend recomended this place to us when we moved over to JI. We go every weekend. Yummy coffee!

Just fyi about common sense: don't walk in there before they are officially even opened and bitch about them needing to hurry up or you're gonna be late. Makes you look like an ultra douchebag!
