Re: “10 of Trump's insane tweets

Of course you started your article as I got drunk last weekend. Mr cool guy. I will not subscribe to your fake "youth in revolt" article that makes stupidity cool.

Why don't you try working for a living?

Re: “10 of Trump's insane tweets

take your CRAP back to NYTIMES with other outdated FAKE news outlets! NYTIMES is the worst news source in the world aside from the rest of the news outlets that stood for indoctrinating our country through media brainwashing campaigns to start wars for HALIBURTON. They showed the TWIN TOWERS FALLING on their programming 24/7 for almost two years afterwards.... That and MICHAEL JACKSON. They are FAKE NEWS, and people like you swallow it because your NAIVE CONSUMERS.

I would attack your opinion if you actually had something to say aside from JUVENILE NAME CALLING. You must be really young.

That sure sounds disturbing, this news that Breitbarb was so influential.

Re: “How have Pepe-posting meme warriors responded to real violence of the alt-right?

What real violence of the 'alt-right'? The neo-Nazis aren't alt-right any more than the radical people's worker's party of nutjob communists are alt-left. Both fringes are kooks and not representative of anything within the mainstream of American politics.

Re: “Charlottesville and the shattering of America

Foghorn, of course when some extreme antifa people throw bottles and other things at the racists who are also throwing things on them, it is unacceptable violence on both sides. And when some antifa people are so extreme they are trying to prevent free speech on universities, even hateful free speech, that is indeed extreme. In any case, some of the demonstrators who came to demonstrate against the statue of that racist and to demonstrate against the racists, were not radical antifa people, just common demonstrators who did not engage in any violence. There is no evidence that the woman martyr who was killed by that terrorist engaged in any violence. She was even afraid to come to the demonstration, for fear of the violence that could result. She was just a decent opponent of racism.

Re: “Charlottesville and the shattering of America

tupper29406 - Did you read the attached article that actually makes that point or are you just spouting off? Almost universally everyone on both sides at that rally were what you would call "privileged' whites, and all came with the goal of creating conflict, recording on their cell phones how far they could push the violence so they could later upload it to Youtube and blog about it. These protests are less about conflicting social political ideas and more about narcissistic gen-Xers trying to get national exposure.

Re: “Charlottesville and the shattering of America

Well we all know what your idea of free speech is, shut down of all people that don't disagree with your "Everyone I don't like is is Hitler" mentality.

Obviously all rights come with some provisions. In Charlottesville, the police clearly fell down on the job and in many way aggravated the situation by herding these two extremist groups together. Most were standing down and ignoring the violence. Only 3 people where arrested and the killer driving the car is only being charged with second degree murder, as if premeditation wasn't his plan.

Re: “Charlottesville and the shattering of America

"clamping down on free speech"

You clearly do not understand what free speech is and isn't, and what protections are and are not afforded to people.

Re: “Charlottesville and the shattering of America

Violence may be a two-way street but in this case, murder is a one-way street. Straight white privilege is turning into straight white "rights".

Re: “Charlottesville and the shattering of America

It you think clamping down on free speech, rooting for one extreme group over another and framing those who don't agree with your Bush-like "you're either with us or your with the Nazis" rhetoric will all end in a happy ending, I have a wheelbarrow full of Weimar Republic currency notes I'd like to sell you.

Re: “Charlottesville and the shattering of America

When the president has policy advisers who are militant communists that want to sew chaos and destroy civil liberties for and murder minorities, then maybe I'll get worried about it. That is not the current issue. That is not what going an innocent person killed last night. But awesome deflection, as always.

Re: “Charlottesville and the shattering of America

You just can't help yourself can you? How presumptuous of you to imagine my disgust for fascism would be any less than my disgust for group think and statism. Clearly you don't even bother to read what I write.

Re: “Charlottesville and the shattering of America

Ron I reject your asinine point regarding my positions as much as I reject the Nazis, the KKK and the Alt-Right. I also reject the positions of the Alt-left and their numerous associated groups, groups which you are never seem to have a problem with and in fact defend. You don't get to pick which are the "good extremists". And we understand from reading your frequent comments here that you are quick to insult and spit fire, since you apparently lack the intellect to debate complex ideas without resorting to your base instincts. That being said, take your prick and stick it in your ear.

Re: “Charlottesville and the shattering of America

It's not extremist to want to fight against people who want to eradicate you and your entire way of life and deny you basic civil liberties because of deep-seated, illogical hatred. But way to defend Nazis, Foghorn. And before you say you're not defending them, anything other than unequivocal rejection and condemnation of their actions is a defense. There is no moral obligation to be tolerant of intolerance. Prick.

Re: “Charlottesville and the shattering of America

Racism is a two-way street. So is violence. Extremists feed into each other.

You cant legitimize one form of racism without legitimizing all of them.

Welcome to Trump's America! Trump will never call out the last bastion of his eroding base. He wants and needs the Nazis and supremacists vote, after all. He has no limit from whom he'll accept support.
