Celebrate two years of 5Church Charleston with a special tasting menu from chefs Jamie Lynch and Adam Hodgson, as well as guest chefs Chelsey Conrad, from Butcher & Bee, Sorghum & Salt’s Tres Jackson, and Juliet’s Nate Whiting. Menu items include porcini-poached clam on the half shell with leek cream, sturgeon caviar, and bulls blood; confit sweet potatoes with kimchi yogurt, black garlic, apricot, and crispy leeks; squid ink tagliatelle with bay scallops, pilpelchuma, and mint; elk tenderloin with baby beets, rainbow carrots, crispy brussels, pickled blueberries, blueberry elk jus, and garlic truffles; and carnaroli rice pudding with roasted butternut squash, white chocolate, and hazelnuts. All diners will enjoy complimentary wine and beer as well as live music from Ben Fagan and the Holy City Hooligans starting at 9 p.m. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit MUSC’s Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.
