John Lewis and his team have shipped in tons of green chiles from Hatch, New Mexico to serve and sell at the second annual chile roast. Chile fans are encouraged to pre-order their fresh roasted chiles here They’ll also be available to buy on site, sold in one-pound bags. For those who are new to the Hatch game, they can try the pepper prepared a variety of ways by Charleston’s top chefs including folks from Callie's Hot Little Biscuit, Daps Breakfast & Imbibe, Home Team BBQ, Jack of Cups Saloon, Kwei Fei, Pink Cactus, Short Grain, Tavern & Table, and Chefs Emily Hahn, Blair Machado and Sarah Adams. Pro tip: save room for a taste of Sparky's BBQ’s world famous chile cheese burgers (they’re flying in from Hatch just for the event).
