Re: “Raul's Maya del Sol

Good place, if a little unconventional, and excellent food. Honestly, my only beef with the place is that they charge a little more than I'd like for basics at a primarily lunch place ($3 for a taco, for example). Though to be fair, if you go to Santi's or Taco Boy or anywhere else you'll pay the same. I just got spoiled at the taquerias in Dallas. Overall, excellent food, excellent service, highly recommend.

Jaxx, the only place where traffic actually sucks is coming and going from Summerville, which isn't a problem of capacity or design, it's just the nature of living in a suburb of the city you work in.

Those are actually the exact same thing. There is no difference between a baker refusing service and a restauranteur refusing service. They're both refusing service. The only legal difference is that the particular type of bigotry we're talking about today isn't covered by the 1964 Civil Rights Act (which needs to be amended to do so). I am utterly amazed at how ignorant of this particular piece of legislation so many people on the right have suddenly become.

No, it's r*i*diculous. And that's why we need to be focusing more on education.

Re: “Black Lives Matter march planned for Saturday at 2 p.m.

@Jaxx: Do you really not have a problem with the government killing citizens without recourse? Are you just a big fan of enormous, unchecked, authoritarian government?

Translation: "I don't have a problem with people protesting institutionalized racism so long as I'm not personally inconvenienced in any way."
