Stomp 'em like Lucy

Deep Water Vineyard, formerly Irvin-House Vineyards, hosts its annual grape stomping festival, featuring both grapes and the aforementioned stomping. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and spread out on the vineyard’s grassy field where you’ll have front row seats to the fest’s Lucy Look-A-Like contest — yes, as in I Love Lucy. In case you missed it, there was a 1956 episode in which Lucy worked at a vineyard stomping grapes. Guests can also enjoy live music from Travelin’ Kine and One Kool Blow, along with food trucks, vendors, and a bounce castle. And while you’re there, make sure to take part in wine tastings — they run every 30 minutes for just five bucks.
