Proceeds from Saturday's Sadler Vaden show at the Pour House will benefit Brantley's family
On Wed. April 20, after a bartending shift at Park Circle’s the Sparrow, Eric Brantley was fatally shot in a parking lot just steps away from the fire station and the North Charleston High School. There are only two people that know the circumstances leading up to this attack — one was left for dead beside his cherished Honda motorcycle and the other would be the unknown assailant. This senseless act has left so many asking questions, all while reeling with shock at the loss of an amazing character and figurehead in Charleston.

    Chucktown Truck Takes Trip
When Pot Kettle Black owner Chef Jon Caton of Charleston put a feeler out to Bonnaroo management inquiring about having his food truck there during the festival, little did he realize he'd be in the middle of their new "Food Truck Oasis." From June 9th through 12th, Caton and his crew sold out of nearly every item on the menu and considered it a huge success.
