A Boston Municipal Court clerk-magistrate rejected seven of the 17 vandalism charges brought against notorious graffiti artist Frank Shepard Fairey. The seven charges were dropped because there wasn’t enough proof that he committed the crimes. Fairey went back to court on April 14 to face 10 other vandalism charges. Many Bostonians are upset with Fairy’s stickers being stuck all over the city. Kathleen Alexander, co-chairwoman of the Graffiti NABBers said, “We want the judge to know the community is here and wants something to happen, wants for this to be taken seriously.” —Emma Hart
