Leapfrog, a group that rates hospitals by the rate of infections, problems with surgery, practices to prevent errors, safety problems, and staff. According to their ranking, the MUSC Medical Center and the Trident Medical Center were the only Charleston-area hospitals to receive top marks. Roper Hospital, East Cooper Medical Center, and Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital all received Bs, with Mount Pleasant Hospital and Summerville Medical Centers receiving Cs. Source: Leapfrog Group
