The City of Charleston released an official mobile app for Holy City residents on Wednesday.

Available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, the app allows users to pay parking tickets and Municipal Court fees, submit noise complaints, and request services such as garbage collection and pothole repair.

The app also hosts contact information for members of City Council, along with city meeting times, locations, and agendas.

Many of the app's portals look and work exactly like the mobile version of the city's website, though it's still useful to have the most important features in one easy-to-access place.

"The City of Charleston app is a major step forward in our efforts to ensure that citizens have easy access to the information and services they need," said Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg in a statement. "I’d like to thank all the people who worked so hard on this new app, and to encourage our residents to join me in downloading and using it today."
