Walmart offering delivery at 11 stores around Charleston starting today

Order food, beauty products, electronics, and even toys

Walmart is rolling out its grocery delivery service in 11 stores throughout the Charleston area starting today.

The Arkansas-based retail behemoth will now locally compete with Whole Foods, which offers delivery through its parent company Amazon, and grocery delivery apps like Shipt and Instacart (Read our very scientific breakdown of how those work here.)

Just visit walmart.com/grocery, enter your ZIP code, and add to your shopping list. At checkout, you'll be asked to enter a one-hour delivery window.

Deliveries will be completed through Postmates, Walmart's third-party delivery service in Charleston.
The service comes with a flat fee of $9.95 plus the cost of groceries, which can include everything items from the beauty, electronics, baby, and toy sections, according to a press release from the company.

Curbside pickup service is also available at 11 stores in the Charleston area.

The company plans to expand the service to 100 metro areas by the end of the year.

New users can use the promo code FRESHCAR for free delivery with a $50 minimum order.
