Initial reports from SCDOT say a loose tarp wasn't to blame for "the failure" that occurred two weeks ago during a rush hour storm, closing that part of I-526 for hours and stranding several motorists. Source: P&C

According to SCE&G executives, the private utility says it's prepared to charge its customers more than $2 billion over the next 60 years to pay for a massively over budget and behind schedule nuclear project it voted to abandon this week. Source: P&C, The State

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham said yesterday on NBC's "Today" that one military option in North Korea, as it demonstrates potential nuclear capabilities, is to "destroy North Korea's program and North Korea itself," rather than allowing a conflict on U.S. soil. Source: P&C
