U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham seems open to deal-making as the Senate continues its quest to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Yesterday, Graham said he was willing to vote for the latest repeal proposal if he received assurances that his idea to block grant federal health care funds to states would be considered in conference committee. After fielding a lawsuit and letters from lawmakers, at their meeting today, the Charleston County School Board could "walk back" it's vote to raise board members' pay by a total of nearly $500,000 less than two weeks ago. Source: P&C

The South Carolina Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday that the state's law defining domestic violence did not provide equal constitutional protections to same-sex couples.
