If you’ve been in Charleston long enough, then you’ve met Byron. He’s like our version of Times Square’s Naked Cowboy, only surlier and clothed. And now he’s on a T-shirt, thanks to soon-to-be-launched company Flooded Streets.

Flooded Streets — which, by the way, is basically the most Charleston-y name for a business ever — plans to sell “tees sprung from the Charleston imagination” once they officially launch on June 1. That includes the Byron shirts, and, according to their Facebook page, Flooded Streets plans to give the man himself a cut of every sale.

Before the official launch, Flooded Streets plans to host a pop-up shop in the coming weeks. The company sent out an e-mail recently hinting that the shop will be downtown, and it’ll have a limited number of Byron tees available.

In the meantime, you can sign up for e-mail updates on their website, or just stay tuned to their Facebook page.
