Piccolo Spoleto’s theater series includes a late run of Deuce Theatre’s The Duncan Storm. Arguably one of the most controversial shows on the schedule, the play features actors in white- and black-face.

"We basically try to offend everyone equally, painfully, in order to make our point," says Deuce co-founder Andrea Studley. "We want the audience to be shocked at how this was ever OK … and see, admit to ourselves, how similar caricatures are still accepted today."
