We gave some love to the lone opera this year at Spoleto. It’s called Louise and it’s a sweet story of a girl falling in love with the boy next door. Her parents don’t like him and they end up moving in together. Amid all this, there’s the bohemian intoxicated spirit of Paris at the turn of the century. We can’t wait to see it. Here’s some shots our Kaitlyn Iserman took Wednesday. The show opens Friday night. By the way that’s the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur looming in the background. Perfect.
