• The Republican National Committee says that it always intended to donate Sarah Palin's new $150,000 wardrobe to charity. As if someone would actually want to look like that woman … after Halloween.

• Time.com is reporting that several major companies are in tough times due to the credit crunch. And they're names you know, like Eddie Bauer, Krispy Kreme, Sbarro, Six Flags, Jet Blue.

• But Miller is already giving us a reason to mourn.

MillerCoors LLC says goodbye to Zima.

Chief Marketing Officer Andy England says the decision was due to weakness in the "malternative" segment and declining consumer interest.

Personally, we haven't had a Zima since it became legal for us to have a Zima.

• Wachovia recorded a loss of nearly $24 billion in the last quarter. Don't worry, banker buds, you've still got the 66 cents in my savings account!
