Maybe the Machine Ate 'Em. It happens. (News Wrap)

• President Bush won't talk about those destroyed CIA tapes while an investigation is ongoing, but says he's relieved they didn’t destroy his copy of “A Christmas Story,” as well. “Soap poisoning,” Bush was overheard mumbling. “Heh, heh, heh.”

• Elizabeth II is now the oldest British monarch. Which, I guess, would mean something if the monarchy was still, you know, a monarchy.

• CNN reports that Mississippi homes were destroyed by “a possible tornado.” What’s the alternative? The fog?

• “Party Like A Rockstar” is the number one ringtone in 2007. I personally wouldn’t party like a rockstar. Have you seen “Rock of Love?” With all that booze and pole dancing, you’d loose your health insurance!
