Whippers Endorse Hillary

From the campaign:

Former legislator and the first African-American female to serve as an elected state official from the Tri-County area Lucille Whipper and her son, Representative J. Seth Whipper, both said they support Hillary as the candidate with the experience to make change real and to win the November election.

“It’s never easy meeting challenges and breaking down barriers in the struggle for equal justice and opportunities for all,” Lucille Whipper said.  “During the past few years, our country has turned back the clock from serving the many to catering to the few.  We need someone with experience and the long time commitment to make things right again. Hillary spent most of her life fighting for families, for children and for equal opportunity for all people.  As someone who’s had the opportunity to break some barriers myself, I know Hillary has got the right stuff.”
