Own Your Own Bit of the Parish Scandal

Posted by Greg Hambrick on Mon, Jul 2, 2007 at 4:26 PM

Charleston residents will get a chance to have their own little bit of the Parish scandal next weekend, with the Al Parish auction, with organizers calling it the the most unusual, intriguing, and captivating collection ever presented for auction in this area (something we can surely be proud of).

When these folks say their they're selling his stuff, they aren't just talking about the art and pens he's collected. There's TVs and tool boxes, too. Everyone has their favorites. My money's on the gnomes of Honest Ab, T.J., and Ben Franklin.

The auction will be July 13 and 14 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There's an early showing Thursday afternoon. Admission (if you can believe it) is $5 a day.
