It's going to dip down in the 40s starting tomorrow y'all. What better time to round up the fam and catch some great films in the cozy Terrace Theatre?

Disaster double bill
Thurs. Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. watch James Franco's new, critically acclaimed flick, The Disaster Artist, a movie about the making of a movie, the "worst movie ever made" to be exact. CP film critic Dan Hudak writes,"To be sure, The Room is terrible. It's one of the few films I haven't been able to finish, and I sat through all five Twilight movies. But because of Wiseau and Sestero's compliance (both have cameos in the film!), The Disaster Artist is able to be a guilt-free, off the wall riot. It's probably an Oscar contender as well, so see it, and then if you're feeling frisky, try to sit through The Room too." If you are feeling frisky, stick around for a free screening of The Room beginning at 9:30 p.m.   The Killing of a Sacred Deer
Fri. Dec. 8 at 7:10 p.m. head to the theater — if you're in the mood for an eerie psychological thriller — to watch a screening of The Killing of a Sacred Deer starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell. The film's producer Atilla Yulcer will be at in attendance for an introduction and question and answer period, offering a glimpse into the mind of director Yargos Lanthimos (The Lobster, Dogtooth, Alps).

Magnolia Gardens and Terrace Theater
Channel your inner animal do-gooder Sun. Dec. 10 at the Terrace with a screening of JANE, the Jane Goodall documentary and a visit from some of Magnolia's zoo and nature center critters. Director of the nature center Chris Smith will be in the theater's lobby with a display of small animals at 12:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. before the 12:45 and 2:30 p.m. film screenings.

Purchase tickets to any and all shows online; prices range from $8-$11.
