Pledge to Sarah

It's been almost a year since Sarah Jones was hit by train while working as a camera assistant on the Gregg Allman biopic Midnight Rider in Wayne County, Ga. Since Feb. 20, 2014, her friends and family have been working to raise awareness about the safety on film sets. Starting with Slates for Sarah — a movement across filming locations and sound stages where crews would write Sarah's name on the movie slates in remembrance of Jones — they've now moved onto Pledge to Sarah, a movement that urges people to speak up if they see or experience something that is unsafe on set.

Now the former College of Charleston student is being remembered in a new star-studded PSA. Jack Black, Paul Dano, Shemar Moore, and recent Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez, want the film industry to stop risking people's lives for a good shot. Nina Dobrev also appears in the PSA. Dobrev, who stars in The Vampire Diaries that Jones worked on, is he most visibly shaken actress to appear in the PSA.
