Are you in serious A Water Album withdrawals following Benny Starr’s historical live recording from back in September at the Charleston Music Hall? Same. But never fear: the vinyl pre-order, signed and all, is here.

Well, technically, it's here.

With stunning cover art by artist Samira Miché, A Water Album is currently in the mixing process with Matt Zuttell of Coast Records. While we do not have a firm date on a release yet, we do know that it’s coming pretty soon, and that it will be worth the wait.

Starr says on his website, “When pre-ordering, please understand that the vision for this album is for it to be experienced on vinyl as an art piece birthed in Charleston. Out of respect for that vision, we are going to prioritize the artistic process of album art, mixing, and mastering — so we are not guaranteeing a hard delivery date. We anticipate a delivery date between late fall to early winter. When the album is completed, pre-orders will be prioritized for shipping.”

Not only will the vinyl be signed, but it’ll also include a digital download code, so you can take the masterpiece with you wherever you go. Via bennystarrsc.com, you can also cop a tee shirt from the show with the words "Recorded Live" or "A Water Album," and the show's official poster, signed, is also available for purchase.

Starr also says, “Thank you for your continued support, energy, love, and appreciation of Black art and expression. Without that, this album would not exist.”
