Death of Paris
  • Death of Paris
Columbia-based band Death of Paris will land in Charleston during a tour of the Southeast promoting their new self titled album. Monster Music & Movies will host a free acoustic performance by the band at 2 p.m. on July 24. The band plays Fiddler’s Green in Mt. Pleasant at 6 p.m. later that evening. They share the stage with indie-pop act Bobby & Suzy at the Tin Roof that night as well.

Produced by David Baker at Killingsworth Recording Company in L.A., Death of Paris’ theme centers around the singer Jayna Doyle and guitarist Jake Arambula’s views on love. The electronica-influenced indie-rock band also features guitarist Patrick Beardsley, bassist Patrick North, and drummer Bryan Bass. Through self-funded tours of the South, they’ve gained a respectable regional following to match their South Carolina diehards.
