Rik Cribb

Rik Cribb and the Problems are on for a “homecoming reunion bash” at the Mt. Pleasant Wild Wing on Wed. Feb. 23.

Cribb is a Charleston native with a long music career. He formed the Problems in 2005 with drummer Jeff Mangan and guitarist Doug Walters (a City Paper contributor). The band released a self-titled album in 2009. Halfway through the making of the disc, Cribb took time off to work on an industrial project in Kuwait. He currently works as a technician for the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) at Mazar-e-Sharif in north of Afghanistan.

Bassist Jason Ridenhour and keyboardist John Fitzgerald will fill out the Problems lineup. Several special guest musicians will grace the stage as well.
