"Thanks to local musician Teddy Prause — a longtime Charleston player string player who specializes in acoustic Irish tunes with Fried Rainbow Trout and the Bograts (pictured) — for updating our info on the latest lineups. The Bograts, set for a big St. Patrick's Day gig this Tuesday at Tommy Condon’s Irish Pub (160 Church St.), currently features Prause, singer and musician Steve Carroll, and young fiddler/guitarist Christian Carroll (Steve's son), who replaced Jason Baker last year.

"Also, you might want to tell the person who does up your ads that the abbreviation for 'St. Patrick's' is 'St. Paddy's … if you spell it 'St. Patty's,' then you have just referenced St. Patricia," Prause added.

Steve Carroll & The Bograts usher in a proper St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Tommy Condon’s in the front window with several lively sets of traditional Irish tunes and sing-alongs. Kathy Peacock sings at noon and the Bograts play at 9 p.m.
