Hootie and the Blowfish played to a packed crowd on the Battery this Friday morning. The Palmetto state natives performed three songs for an appearance on ‘The Early Show’ on CBS. Lead singer Darius Rucker appeared despite suffering a nasty staph infection in his left knee. Seated onstage, his IV hookups were clearly visible. He’s undergone three surgeries in an attempt to clear up the infection. Cheers to Darius for performing anyway….
