Don't worry about that "beach body" — there's always room for a little pop-up in your life. From an oyster class to wine tastings and a beer fest that'll knock your hops off, here's where to eat, drink, and be merry this week:

Monday

Nico’s oyster class is hosted every Mon. of May, starting at 6 p.m., with French Master Chef Nico Romo demonstrating how to shuck and prepare oysters. After a glass of Oysterman wine, you’ll even walk away with an oyster knife of your own.


The Folly Beach Farmers Market is the perfect way to enjoy food, culture, and music all while participating in weekly workshops led by the community. Enjoy the creative vendors every Mon. from 4 to 8 p.m. until Oct. 21.

Tuesday

Support local produce at the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market every Tues. 3:30 to 7 p.m. until Sep. 24. Aside from just-picked fruits and vegetables, you can even grab a plate of seafood or a fresh baked good.


Like burgers? Like them even more with beer? Parcel 32’s Burger + Beer Night is the place to be every Tues. night at 5:30 p.m. until the end of the year for a Smash burger combo you don’t want to miss.


Pink Bellies is taking over the kitchen of Edmund’s Oast Brewery from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. every Tues. until further notice. Grab the Vietnamese cuisine while it’s hot.


Burgers and Beer Flights with Palmetto Brewing will have your favorite specialty burgers and beers on tap for $15 every Tues., 4-10 p.m. throughout the month of May.

Wednesday

Sample a glass of wine and admire all nature has to offer at the Garden Stroll and Wine Tasting at Middleton. Grab a snack between each location as you partake in the stroll every Wed. at 5:30 p.m. until May 29.


Yoga expert or newbie, attend Spirits & Savasana at Striped Pig Distillery for a little stretching and a little sipping in their newfound space on Wed., May 15 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Thursday

Wine on the Piazza is your opportunity to enjoy a glass of your favorite white wine while overlooking the Charleston Harbour. Join the guided tour on the second story piazza of the Edmondston-Alston House from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.


Container Bar is hosting an exclusive May happy hour on May 16 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.


The North Charleston Farmers Market is held every Thurs. from 3-7 p.m. at the Felix C Davis Community Center. Swing by for food, live music, and weekly yoga.


King Street Green will be in the courtyard of Edmund’s Oast Brewery showcasing a variety of eclectic musical talent every Thurs. from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. until the end of June.


Congratulate Blind Tiger Pub on their new title at the Best Outdoor Patio Celebration from 6-8 p.m. 


Attend A Tale of Two Dinners at The Charleston Library Society and listen as Chef Keven Mitchell discusses the history of southern cooking in Charleston. The event will be from 6-8 p.m.


Edmund’s Oast Exchange will be all about Alsace, France this Thursday. Join them for the Alsatian Wine Tasting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Friday

2nixons is at Proof every Friday through August from 6 p.m.- 1 a.m.


Hutson Alley is hosting a pop-up wine tasting series every Friday in May at 5 p.m.


Cast Iron Food Truck will be at Freehouse Brewery alongside Zach Porter Miles for a delicious bite and some live music. The event will be hosted on May 17 from 4-8 p.m.

Saturday

The Charleston Beer Fest takes place from noon to 7 p.m. at Riverfront Park with more than 40 breweries, beer games, food trucks, and more.

The third annual May the Dogs Be With You fest takes place at Deepwater Vineyard starting at 10 a.m. Hosted by the vineyard and Lowcountry Dog Magazine, the event features dog friendly activities, vendors, food trucks, wine, and 'galactic fun.'

It's a great day for farmers markets, y'all. Hit up the downtown market starting at 8 a.m., Johns Island at 9:30 a.m., the Lowcountry Farmers Market at the Tanger Outlets at 9 a.m., and the Summerville market starting at 8 a.m.

Check out the Charleston Night Bazaar every third Saturday at Pacific Box and Crate starting at 5 p.m.

Step your brunch game up a notch at the wildly whimsical Madhatter Brunch every Saturday morning at the Grand Bohemian starting at 11 a.m.

Palmetto Brewing hosts their courtyard grand reopening starting at noon with live music, new beer release, and food trucks all afternoon.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. head to Drayton Hall for a family picnic. There will be music from the V-Tones, colonial era games and crafts, and boxed lunches available from the Drayton Hall cafe. You can also bring your own basket of goodies.

Tabbuli hosts their drag brunch starting at noon with bottomless mimosas and unparalleled entertainment.

Sunday

Local artist Meredith Steele debuts new work at Graft Wine Shop from 3 to 6 p.m.

Learn how to shake (or stir!) up the best cocktails for spring at Cocktail Club's Spring into Summer cocktail class starting at 3 p.m.

Pet Helpers and Container Bar host Hoedown for the Hounds starting at noon with food, raffles, live music, and a mechanical bull, even.

Take a trip to Morris Island with Tideline Tours for a Lowcountry boil starting at 5:30 p.m.
