Readers, I apologize. I've been sleeping on Butcher & Bee Pastry Chef Cynthia Wong's ice cream drumsticks when I should have reported on them ages ago. The truth is, all you foodsters can keep your hot chicken hot takes, this is the only faux fowl food I'm interested in.

Here's the deal, for $30 you can buy a bucket of six ice cream drumsticks for dine-in or takeaway. The only catch? You must place your order 48 hours in advance.

What you get is a remarkably accurate depiction of a bucket of fried chicken, right down to the cornflake crust. The drumstick meat is made up of waffle flavored ice cream, a la chicken and waffles, and Wong's even gone so far as to include a bone — a Cadbury finger biscuit covered in chocolate.

"It's a post-post-post stoner kind of thing," Wong explained on the most recent EffinBRadio episode.

Even better? When you bite into the drumstick the result is a remarkably similar look to real chicken meat. It's weird, but go with it.

To get your own bucket-o-fun, call Butcher & Bee and place an order.
