Tiny McClellanville is getting its own farmers market. Beginning tomorrow at 9 a.m., McClellanville Land & Sea Market will open at 1369 N Pinckney St.

As the market’s publicist Farmbar’s Tara Derr Darling writes on the Land & Sea’s website, the idea for the project was that of Addie Bates, a McClellanville native who wanted to bring fresh goods to the people of her home.

She’ll get her first chance tomorrow when Bulls Bay Saltworks, R & R Acres, Darling Farm, The Farmbar, Carolina Seafood, BottleTree Gardening, Millgrove Farm, Doehall Plantation Confections, Good Personality Baking, Tallulah Flowers, Karen Shuler Pottery, and more will welcome shoppers under the oaks.

McClellanville Land & Sea Market is actively looking for more vendors. If you’re interested, email Bates at mcvllandandseamarket@gmail.com.
