As we sit here today, you have until Thursday to commit the flavors of Edmund's Oast's to memory. After that, the NoMo hotspot says it's gone.

But what if there was a way to recreate the sublime salty, creamy toast in your home kitchen?

Well, there is.

Upon the news Friday that the shrimp was being retired, the folks at Edmund's have no doubt heard from loyal patrons with fond memories of one of the restaurant's early signature dishes.

This afternoon, just after Kinsey posted about the briny bread's departure, EO stepped up and posted the recipe on Twitter. Despite its complex layers of flavor, frequent home cooks with a fully-stocked pantry probably already have most of the critical ingredients. (Let's hope you have some Duke's anyway...)
