Charleston Farmers Market to have fewer vendors Sat. June 17

Market hopping

If you're heading to the Charleston Farmers Market tomorrow from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., take note, there will be one third fewer vendors than usual in order to coordinate with anniversary events for Mother Emanuel AME Church.

As always, there are several markets you can check out this weekend, in addition to the one in Marion Square. On Saturday head to the Johns Island Farmers Market, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and the Summerville Farmers Market from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. On Sunday there's James Island's Sunday Brunch Farmers Market from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and North Mt. Pleasant's market, also from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

For a full schedule of Mother Emanuel events, head here.
