In the mid-nineties, Ferdinando Zanusso purchased a small old vineyard located in the Friuli region of Northern Italy. Today, on this family-owned and operated estate, Ferdinando and his son, Mario, organically produce clean, simple wines, focusing on the varietal Ribolla, a “philological wine with no maceration whatsoever.”

David McCarus of McCarus Beverage Co. has partnered Mario with Chez Nous for a wine dinner featuring these i Clivi Northern Italian wines to be served alongside fare harkening to this region. Mario will be in attendance, ready to answer questions and pour the perfect glass.

The dinner is Tuesday, March 14, and reservations start at 5:30 p.m. Food will be available a la carte and wine pairings are $55 a person.
