Zombie Bob's owner Ryan Dedrickson was electrocuted last week — here's how you can help

Last Wednesday while prepping his Zombie Bob's Pizza food truck for Saturday's Be More Tea Festival, owner Ryan Dedrickson was electrocuted. We spoke to Karen Moran, owner of Sweet Lulu's Bakery food truck and a friend of Dedrickson's, who says that while he is currently talking and slowly walking, his prognosis on Wednesday was not so optimistic. Dedrickson's family has started a gofundme for his hospital bills and Moran is working on organizing a food truck rodeo to raise money for Dedrickson.

The electrocution happened while Dedrickson was running a cord between a building and his truck. Generally, food trucks run off of generators, but they can also use electricity as a power source. 

Moran was on her way to visit Dedrickson when we spoke to her. "I'm getting him a Superman costume," she said, adding that it reflected his current "great spirit."

UPDATE: Lipton responded to our request for more information with the following: " Thank you for reaching out. The Charleston Food Truck Federation will be the best resource for your questions as no incidents involving food trucks occurred at the Lipton Be More Tea Festival or during load in for the event which took place for all food truck vendors on Friday afternoon. Track Marketing Group managed all logistics and production elements for the festival and followed standard safety procedures to which all food trucks complied and no incidents involving food trucks occurred on the event grounds."
