Bad Bitches, the all female pop-up dinner series, has just announced open enrollment for their scholarship fund for women looking to further their careers in the culinary arts.

Founders Sarah Adams, Kelly Kleisner, and Randi Weinstein started the dinner series this spring with the goal to not only spotlight women in Charleston's F&B scene, but to also raise money to support women aspiring to enter the field. Now, some $50,000 later, they're ready to cut some scholarship checks. Beginning Oct. 2 through Nov. 12, interested women may apply for the Bad Bitches scholarship fund.

While applicants seeking funds for associates degrees can only receive scholarship money to be put toward programs at Culinary Institute of Charleston, the application is also open for women who need money to "apply for seminars, examination fees, continuing education courses, and various other causes that will allow them to be a powerful positive contributor in the community," a press release says. Individual requests will be capped at $5,000. The application can be found via Bad Bitches' Facebook page, via email at thewomen@badbitcheschs.com, or here.

The group also welcomes donations. Those can be made to the Bad Bitches Fund through its fiscal sponsor, the Center for Women, 129 Cannon Street, Charleston, SC 29403.
