In February, Pusser’s Rum relocated their world headquarters to Charleston, a move that should have received as much hype as PeopleMatter but didn’t. We celebrated in our own way over here at the City Paper, cracking open their new Painkiller mix and making a party of it.

You can celebrate too, as Pussers has deemed May Painkillers on the Peninsula month. More than 20 restaurants and bars will feature the drink on special, and Blossom will be the official headquarters of the month-long Painkiller party. Manager Luis Rodriguez coordinated the event, getting everyone to sign on and take part.

In addition to Blossom and Magnolias, you’ll be able to find the drink at Fish, Social, Mac’s Place, Burwell’s, Amen Street, the Oyster Room, Max and Henry’s, Stag Erin, High Cotton, SNOB, Planet Follywood, Castaways Grille, Folly Beach Shrimp Co., The Fall Out, Smoky Oak, Salty Waters, Vendue Rooftop, Mad River, Roost, Three Lions Pub, and Queen Anne’s Revenge.

Keep an eye out for special events and promotions throughout the month of May.
