From now until April 20, the organizers of the Charleston Beer Garden will donate 20 percent of ticket sales to a fund to help people who lost their jobs in the 213 East Bay St. fire. Click here to buy a ticket and support the cause. At checkout, enter the password "213EASTBAY."

"We're happy to do our small part to support these folks since the hospitality industry has been part of our lives forever," says Hilary Johnson, a partner in the Gusto Group, which is putting on the event. The Beer Festival, which will take place from noon to 8 p.m. on May 18 at Brittlebank Park, will feature dozens of craft brews, a beer-themed decathlon, a beer school, a homebrewers' village, and live music from bands including Jordan Igoe and the Royal Tinfoil.
