Chef Bob Carter (Carter’s Kitchen, Rutledge Cab Co.) was driving on the Ravenel Bridge when a stopped truck caused a domino effect crash. He crashed into a car stopped behind the stopped truck and the car behind him crashed into him.
Carter suffered a broken neck, broken nose, and several broken ribs. According to a close friend, Lisa Buzzelli, who’s been at the hospital, Carter underwent surgery yesterday for his neck injury and will fortunately not suffer any paralysis.
While Carter is telling her he’ll be out in a day or two, Buzzelli seems to think his recuperation will take a bit longer than that.
