You have to love Twitter. When famous eaters come to town, they let us know all about it.

Yesterday, Chef Jennifer Carroll of Top Chef fame rolled into town and bellied right up to the table at Husk Restaurant for lunch. She tweeted a picture of pig farmer Adam Musick alongside his name on the Husk chalkboard. She was also with farmer Craig Rogers of Border Springs and is seemingly meeting up with every foodie in town, from Marion Sullivan and Angel Postell of the Wine + Food Festival to Matt and Ted Lee.

She and her group had Manhattans and carpaccio at FIG followed by foie gras at McCrady’s, and then they rolled on to a late-night oyster-eating on the Battery.

Rogers has tweeted that they plan to eat at Two Boroughs Larder (indeed tweets are rolling in from there as I write this), Cypress, The Griffon, and Dave’s. All in one day. Whew. I’m sweating just thinking about all that great food they’ll be chowing down on. Good luck.
