In honor of Women’s History Month, the Gibbes Museum of Art presents a performance from actress Maggie Worsdale — a Martha Washington reenactor — on March 16 at 10:30 a.m. Tickets costs $15 a person and kids get in free. Your ticket includes museum admission.
The fully costumed performance lasts roughly 40 minutes and is followed by a Q&A with the (first) First Lady. Martha Washington will talk about her life and the many contributions from women during the American Revolution. This family-friendly event will bring history to life through entertaining and educational anecdotes.
