Insert high-pitched scream here: It's YALLFest weekend. Everyone's favorite YA gathering takes place in various locations in downtown Charleston this Friday and Saturday.

As usual the weekend starts off with YALLCrawl on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. We recommend stopping by Blue Bicycle Books before heading out on your crawl so you can stock up on books (for signing, of course) and YALLFest merch. You can still pre-order signed books, too, if you can't make the fest or want to skip the line. See the full YALLCrawl schedule online.

If you want to attend Friday's red carpet preview, held at the Main Library downtown at 4 p.m., be sure to register ahead of time by calling (843) 805-6903.

Several author signings come with special restrictions. On Sat. Nov. 11 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. you must have a copy of Cassandra Clare's City of Bones 10th Anniversary Edition or Lord of Shadows to get into her signing, located in the courtyard behind Blue Bicycle. Wristbands for Clare's signing will be available via book pre-order only.

For Jason Segel and Kirsten Miller's book signing, held after their spotlight conversation in the Charleston Music Hall Mezzanine, wristbands will be distributed to the first 200 ticket holders in line for the conversation.
Tickets for YALLFest's opening keynote, spotlight on Angie Thomas and Becky Albertalli, and YA smackdown featuring Tiger Beat, are still available. Snag those online.
