Last year local nonprofit the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation enlisted the help of Artspace, a national developer of spaces for artists to work and live, to determine the needs of local artists. Over 400 members of Charleston's arts community took a survey, providing Artspace with anonymous stats like artist housing needs, affordability ranges, location preferences, and more.
Fri. Sept. 29 at 5:30 p.m. at Redux the results of this survey will be revealed, followed by a community conversation. There will also be an update on several new projects from local arts organizations including Redux, Metanoia, Charleston Stage, City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs, and the Town of Summerville. This event is free to attend but registration is recommended.
