If you have a fledgling mover and shaker in your house (sorry, no grownups allowed), then we've got some good news for you: there's a fun and creative place just down the street for them to harness their energy and showcase their mad skills.

Dance Lab Charleston is premiering the Crew O2, the Lab's first youth hip-hop crew. Crew members (elementary school age) will receive crew dance training in various styles, performing opportunities, plus the chance to compete at the Fusion Dance Competition in Rock Hill, SC next spring.

Tuition can be paid monthly ($130 a month) or in full with a $300 deposit ($1,260 for 12 months). Tuition includes all group rehearsals and access to all youth classes (appropriate for their skill level) and free access to one 2018 Dance Lab summer camp. Crew O2 members will be required to take a hip-hop class (offered Mon., Tues., Fri.), a musical theater jazz class (Fridays from 5-5:45pm), and must attend crew rehearsal Fridays from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.

Auditions for the Crew will be held Mon. August 7 and Thurs. August 10 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. during the Lab's $5 pop-up classes. If you can't swing one of those time slots, email lauren@dancelabcharleston.com.
